The Queensland School Immunisation Program, in conjunction with Gold Coast Public Health, offers free student Immunisation. Further information is provided within the portal. To make sure all students in the relevant cohorts are offered the opportunity to participate, the Public Health Act 2005 authorises school principals to disclose student and parent information to the school Immunisation program provider so they can follow up with parents/legal guardians or authorised persons.

This portal allows you to advise us if you consent for your child to receive school vaccinations, to advise of other arrangements in place or to refuse consent.

Before you can use this portal you will need your childs' unique access code, used with your childs surname and date of birth. If you have more than one child in the programme you will have a different access code for each child. Do not share your access code with others - if you believe that your access code has become known to others contact us to have a new code applied.

Access codes are sent out via email based on information provided by the school. If you have not received an access code prior to any planned vaccinations for your school you should contact us directly, details below. Access codes are formatted as 3 groups of letters seperated by dashes.

If we don't receive a completed consent from you or the consent is incomplete, you may be contacted by the Immunisation provider to check that you have received the offer for your child to participate in the free program. If you don’t want your child to be vaccinated through the school program, please still complete the details on the portal indicating your refusal.

If your child is absent on the day of the school clinic, you can take your child to a free Gold Coast Public Health Community Immunisation clinic. No appointment is required, and service is free. For clinic dates and times visit https://www.health.qld.gov.au/immuniseGC
